These trails will eventually form a loop around the south end of the Rampart system and will be open to two wheeled vehicles only. Eventually, the loop should be around 40 miles in total length, broken into sections that will cross some of the existing trails.
The first section is expected to be around 10 miles of trail and will likely be considered “expert” in nature, at least until the trail has been “burned in” and “hardened” from use..
The RRMMC has been fortunate to be able to use the Mile High Youth Corps to begin construction of the trail. Further work will be done by the RRMMC and volunteer work parties. Work will be announced via Rampart News Yahoo group and on Rampartrange.org.

Because building the trail is all done by hand, it takes a lot of time and work to create. This means riding this trail this summer is unlikely. But we are learning quickly how to route and build this type of trail, and hopefully create a spectacular and sustainable ride experience.
The RRMMC would like to remind everyone to please not attempt to “poach” this trail; if you find flags or the trail, steer clear. Riding the incomplete trail may lead to losing everything we’ve all worked for. Once the trail is open to travel, the RRMMC will be sure to announce the opening and the location on Rampartrange.org.
